With the growth of the internet, researchers and students have ever more potential to communicate with one another to discuss research issues. There are now a huge number of national and international discussion groups and mailing lists that specialise in Research Methods issues. Such lists and groups provide a forum to discuss research problems and seek practical solutions and also can provide a focus for the discussion of theoretical and epistemological issues too.
We have tried to provide links to as many lists and groups as we can below and we have done our best to sub-divide the list by research type. Some of these links are for students while some are for specialised academic researchers.
